DESCRIPTION
The foundation of the human being and his relationship to the world is rooted in his sensory experiences. But the abstraction of knowledge and the technical development which characterize our time are the symptoms of a certain divorce of humanity from what it experiences in its senses. This area of sensory perceptions is now deserted. It is to be won back. It could well be that the various crises - ecological, social, psychological and identity, etc… - that humanity is going through today are in part linked to this divorce in our relationship to the world. In this session, we will first focus on rethinking what a sensory organ is. We will then explore the different sensory areas of the human being and what they can reveal about oneself and the world. We will also question the need for an education of the senses, of a pedagogy whose objective would be above all a sensory re-education of the human being. This study of the senses forms the basis of an anthroposophy, that is to say of a knowledge of the world which fully includes human experience. In this perspective, we will draw on various researchers in anthroposophy, in particular Rudolf Steiner, but also certain phenomenologists of the 20th century.
Artistic workshops
Experimentation of the senses through Bothmer gymnastics, painting and singing.
