Descriptive
The course begins with an introduction to the basics of linoleum printmaking, including the necessary tools, materials and essential techniques.
You will have the opportunity to explore your creativity by designing your own patterns and images, or working from personal inspiration. Each participant will receive individual coaching to help them develop their skills and personal style.
Once you have created your linoleum matrix, you will learn how to ink it and make good quality prints on paper.
All basic materials including linoleum, engraving tools, ink and paper are provided. You can also bring your own special paper if you wish.
No matter your level of experience, this course is open to anyone who wants to explore the world of artistic engraving. Come develop your skills, unleash your creativity and leave with unique and original works of art.

Jeremiah Della Negra
Jérémie della Negra discovered engraving during his schooling at the Waldorf de la Mhotte school (Saint-Menoux, 03) and became an assistant to Christian Marx, then head of the workshop at the school. After studying and working in aquaculture, he finally moved into the field of disability. He became a specialized educator and worked for more than ten years in specialized institutes (in France and Switzerland). He commits in 2016 to Foyer Michaël where he works as a cook. He then participated in a collective of artists who decided to open an engraving workshop at the Domaine de la Mhotte (Saint-Menoux, 03). He also began teaching engraving at Foyer Michaël.
