ENGRAVING

The engraving workshop aims to enable people to acquire basic techniques or improve their skills in the field of engraving and lino-engraving. The opportunity to work with dry point will be given to participants.

Proposé aux enfants comme aux adultes, l’atelier aura lieu le mercredi après-midi pour une durée de 2h. La presse, les encres et le matériel de gravure sont à disposition. Le papier est en supplément.

L’atelier se déroule de septembre à juin. Le règlement peut être effectué trimestriellement sur demande. Engagement à l’année.

Jeremiah Della Negra

Jérémie della Negra discovered printmaking during his schooling at the Waldorf school in La Mhotte and became assistant to Christian Marx, who was then responsible for the workshop within the school. After having studied and worked in aquaculture, he will finally orient himself in the field of disability. He became a specialized educator and worked for more than ten years in specialized institutes (in France and Switzerland). He commits in 2016 to Foyer Michaël where he works as a cook. He then took part in a collective of artists who decided to open an engraving workshop at the Domaine de la Mhotte. He also began to teach engraving at the Foyer Michaël.
